Static sites
Example: This website, Any homepage of a corporation, etc.
The intent is to convey information in a structured way. The journey is around a few minutes if done well.
Linear journey apps/websites
Example: Banking sites, grocery apps, etc.
The intent is to guide the user through a journey or max multiple journeys. The journey is still around a few minutes again, but the user is engaged for a longer time.
Digital tools
Example: Any software, office, DAWs, Film editing tool, image editing, 3D modeling tools, etc.
There is no linear journey, A lot can happen and the journey may not end today, or a few months.
